Eccentrica Diablo V12 upgrades: revised camshafts, bigger airboxes, bespoke ECU tune for more power, wider rev range.
The Lamborghini Diablo V12 Restomod project performed by Eccentrica is an ambitious attempt that causes a new life to the prestigious supercar of the 90s. A major part of this project is important upgrade made in its V12 engine.
The company’s goal is not only to increase power, but to improve the overall experience of driving. This restomod is now in the final stages of production and many technical reforms have been made, especially in its powertrain.
Under these upgrade, several changes have been made in Diablo’s original 5.7-liter V12 engine. Eccentrica engineers have developed a final engine package for the engine, including revised camshafts.
In addition, large airboxes have been installed in the engine. As a complement to these hardware changes, a special engine for the engine has also been carried out a BESPOKE Engine Computer Calibration.
Extensive tests have been conducted to finalize these engines upgrade. Five separate test sessions were held between October 2024 and May 2025, including the track-day session on the dyeno test, proving grounds and open courses.

The result of these tests is the final engine package. The main objective of these changes is to generate more power in the wider rav range than the engine of the original Diablo Donor vehicle.
