In a recent Oscars Nominees ‘Pre-Luncheon’ Luncheon, Grammy-winning singer Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell had an intriguing conversation with Amelia Dimoldenberg. The discussion took an unexpected turn when Eilish opened up about a dream she had years ago that led her to a significant decision in her personal life.

The conversation started with a light-hearted banter about their 2016 hit song “Ocean Eyes”. When asked if the song was about Cillian Murphy, both Billie Eilish and O’Connell jokingly agreed, with O’Connell adding, “I probably wrote it about Cillian, yeah. Big fan of Cillian’s eyes in Dunkirk.”

Billie Eilish then shifted the topic to superheroes, expressing her fondness for Batman, specifically the 2008 film ‘The Dark Knight’. This led her to share a personal revelation. “A couple of years ago I had a dream about Christian Bale and it was at a little cafe in the sunlight, and it made me realize that I had to break up with my boyfriend at the time,” she revealed. This confession left both O’Connell and Dimoldenberg in shock and laughter.

Eilish didn’t specify which boyfriend she was referring to in her revelation. However, she was most recently linked to Jesse Rutherford, the lead vocalist of The Neighbourhood, but they reportedly ended their relationship last year.

On a professional front, Eilish and O’Connell continue to make waves in the music industry. They were nominated for Best Original Song at the 96th Academy Awards for “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie soundtrack. Fans can look forward to their performance at the ceremony on March 10.
