According to exclusive details from The Insider’s Jeff Snyder, Heder is set to play the sly cat in a fresh adaptation to be produced by Warner Bros. Animation. The project will be co-directed by Erica Rivinozza and Alessandro Carloni, while Rivinozza will team with Caroline Williams to write the screenplay.

While this is the first official incarnation of Hader voicing the Cat in the Hat for a full-length film, the actor briefly portrayed the beloved character physically in a memorable Saturday Night Live skit for the musical in 2014. Incarnate, with Aidy Bryant and Pete Davidson.
